Holy Week 2018

This week is Holy Week. We have been doing a lot of activities to remember Jesus.

I bought each child a copy of the Beginner's Bible: The Very First Easter.

We made this torn paper palm leaf for Palm Sunday.

We made a life the flap Stations of the Cross.

We talked about the sixth station: Veronica Wipes the Face of Jesus. The kids made their own version of the veil.

We talked about the Washing of the Feet and the kids made this cute craft.

We talked about the Easter Story and colored pictures that represent different parts of the story.

We made a stained glass crucifix craft to remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us.

We made Holy Week in Fingerprints. Each section tells the story of Jesus' Passion.

The eighth grade kids acted out the Living Stations of the Cross.

Today (Holy Thursday) the fourth and fifth grade students are going to reenact the Last Supper.
(I will post pictures later.)

Finally, the eighth grade students will finish the last five Stations of the Cross at the end of the day.
