Church Craft and Noah's Ark Craft

Two weeks ago, we learned about our church. The students made this craft. They colored stained glass windows on their church, cut out their church, glued it to purple paper (purple for Lent) and drew a picture of themselves inside the church doors. On the back the kids wrote what they can do at church (sing, read, be altar servers when they get bigger, pray, etc...).

Last week, we learned about Noah's Ark. The kids made this fingerprint craft with an ark and animals.

I think next year we will use animal stickers instead of fingerprint stickers because it was very difficult for my Kindergarten students to make the fingerprint animals.

Noah's Ark

Last week we learned about Noah's Ark. We made animals with our hand prints. The students could choose to make a duck, alligator, flamingo, elephant, monkey, cheetah, lion, or giraffe.  We made the hand prints in the morning and let them dry. At the end of the day, the students decorated their hand prints to make them look like the animal they wanted to make. Then I created this adorable bulletin board display for our animals. I love how it turned out!
