Math: Shapes

We have been learning about shapes. One of our standards is to make shapes out of various items. 

We drew shape creatures on white boards.

We used shape stamps to make creatures.

We also used play-doh to make shapes (sorry, I forgot to take pictures of this activity).

Finally, we made shapes out of tooth picks and mini marshmallows (you need two bags of mini marshmallows and one box of 750 count flat toothpicks for a class of 28).

We ate the marshmallows when we were done making shapes. The kids had a lot of fun.
